There are two apartments available for let. Apartment 18 on the upper level is a two-bedroom ensuite that has a queen size bed in the main and the second is a double, the lounge has a queen size pull out sofa. This apartment is suitable for one person, a couple with a small family or a group up to a maximum of six people. Apartment 4 on the lower level is also two-bedroom ensuite, more suited to a family with a couple of kids or a group who are happy to share. It has a queen size bed in the main bedroom, the second bedroom has one double bunk bed, and a single bed, the lounge has a queen size pull out sofa. This great apartment can accommodate up to a maximum of seven people.

The finishes to both apartments are of a high standard. The apartments have a serene marine feel, are finely furnished with the modern conveniences that you could and should expect from properties of this standard. The lounge and meals area is a delight to have the family gathering, and the kitchen and laundry are fully functional with all you will need. For those that would like to relax, there is a great BBQ area and a pool on site (please note the pool bylaws contained within the compendium in the apartment).

Note: Sofa beds will not be made up on arrival.

The apartments are located within a residential apartment complex and, as such, guests are requested to mindful of the amenity of other occupants.

Location

4-8 Edgecumbe Avenue Coogee – Apartment 4 and 18 situated two streets back from Coogee Beach. The apartments are less than 1.5 km from the main beach, the surf life saving club, and the historic Wylie’s Baths. Leave the car behind and take a pleasant 20-minute stroll to playgrounds for the kids, right at the beach.

Your stay at Coogee is sure to please, as there is easy access to public transport that provides a stress free ride to places of interest and fine dining for you and , the kids. All this is within easy reach of the Sydney CBD, Museums, Art Galleries and Taronga Zoo.

Eligibility

Those eligible to stay at the Coogee Apartments are:

  • Army Regular and Reserve may book (9 months in advance), and
  • All other categories (6 months in advance).
  • Navy and Air Force Regular and Reserve
  • Retired ADF personnel
  • Defence Civilians
  • Defence Contractors
  • Family of the above when staying with an eligible member.
  • Defence Contractors and Emergency Services
  • Defence Credit and Australian Defence Credit Union Staff.

You will be required to verify your eligibility by providing your PMKeyS Number; rank; full name and Unit or workplace details for serving ADF and Defence civilians. Retired ADF members are required to provide proof of service and or a current retired ADF superannuants identity number. Defence Contractors and Emergency Services are required to provide their employment details. This information is required by anyone making a booking and is to be provided to the managing agent when requested. To maintain the integrity of the booking system, your details may be verified at the time of check-in.


Tariffs and Seasons

These apartments may be let on a minimum two night stay or weekly basis:

  • $150.00 nightly; and
  • Seven nights is $900.00 (seventh night is free).

In recognition of the demand for holiday properties in areas such as Coogee, weekly stays will be limited to a single booking (not back to back). All bookings will require a deposit payable in advance. The deposit will be fifty percent of the total cost of your occupation and it must be paid directly to the managing agent at the time of making a booking.

Progressive payments of balances outstanding before your occupancy may be made to the managing agent during normal business hours. Full payment must be made before occupancy commences.

Cancellation of bookings must be made direct to the management agent. The management agent is not responsible to provide a refund on cancellation; the AAF Company can only do this. Refund request made outside a four-week period of a confirmed booking may be made.

A refund request inside the four-week period will only be considered if extenuating circumstances exist and can be demonstrated at the time of the request. All request for consideration of refunds must be sent to the Secretary of the AAF Company and is to be initiated by the person who made the booking.

Arrivals on any day are to be from 2pm onwards.

 

Departures by 11am.

It is expected members will arrive during office hours. Notwithstanding, if that is not possible, members are to advise Park Beachside in advance of their anticipated arrival time so ‘out of hours’ staffing at the Agency can be arranged.
