Grande Florida is a low rise complex nestled in two acres of lush tropical rainforest gardens. There are two two-bedroom and two three-bedroom Army Amenities Fund apartments at Grande Florida Beachside Resort. The resort boasts two award winning lagoon style swimming pools (one heated), with sandy beaches and children''''s paddling pools. Other resort features include spa jets in the pool area, games room and undercover security parking.Eligilibity
Those eligible to stay in the Army units are as follows:- Army - Regular and Reserve
- Navy - Regular and Reserve
- RAAF - Regular and Reserve
- Retired Defence Personnel
- Defence Civilians
- Family of the above (only when eligible member stays)
- Defence Contractors, Staff of ADCU, Defcredit, DHA and Emergency Services
Tariffs and Seasons

Ask for the availability of the "Army" units. Army members can book apartments nine months in advance of their stay; all other members can book six months in advance. As from a date to be advised there will only be 3 apartments available for use.
Payment
Defence members will be treated as any other guest with regard to deposit and payment of tariff.A $100 deposit will be required to secure the booking, and the balance of the tariff must be paid on arrival at the resort.
